Buy a Chair. Fix a Chair.
The Cosmopolitan Building remodeling project will expand the main meeting room, re-model Cosmo 2 to include a larger primary meeting room, and add an additional smaller meeting room (Cosmo 3) to the Hawthorne Road side of the building. Plus, there will be four, individual sponsor-sponsee meeting rooms. And all of these rooms require additional chairs.
You and other Cosmopolitan Group members can participate in the project by contributing to the purchase of additional chairs and the fixing or replacing existing chairs that have seen better days. Group meetings need 30 new and 30 repaired or replaced main meeting room chairs, and 60 additional meeting rooms chairs.

Make a donation to the chair project today. Or, get a group together and split the $100 cost of a new chair, or $100 to fix or replace a chair. To donate by credit card, fill out the convenient chair-donation form below (you don’t have to have a PayPal account to donate). These chair donations will be separate from Cosmopolitan Foundation donations (Foundation form also below), will come from Group members only, and will honor the 7th Tradition. Any amount is welcomed and appreciated.

The Cosmopolitan Building at 2323 Durwood Road is owned and maintained by the Cosmopolitan Foundation, a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation. The Foundation is separate from the Cosmopolitan Group, and the Group meetings. Over 300 individuals in recovery attend meetings at Cosmo every day.
The Foundation is conducting a capital campaign to remodel the building and the grounds, including the parking lot, and improve and expand meeting rooms and other service facilities. The campaign goal is $550,000. To date, the Foundation has raised $480,000, and needs your help to finish the campaign.
